Sound bending “TILT” speaker should be on your Christmas list Yanko Design

Designers Candice Daley and CPUT have come up with a unique speaker that is going to revolutionize the distribution of sound. The TILT speaker, which looks like something of a broken sun-dial or a telephone receiver, has this nifty trick it can do with sound. When tilted, it can produce sound that will flow in a channeled direction, making for easy solitary listening. But when you want something louder, it can be faced upwards and the sound will be more ambient.

It’s a useful gadget to have instead of having to fiddle with the volume and equalizers. It might not actually bend sound per say, but it’s probably as close to bending natural elements as most people will get.
