Childish Gamibo Teased His New Album On His Series “Atlanta” & No One Noticed FX

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is one of the smartest individuals around and he has proven that point so many times in his music and his film endeavors. The first season of his series Atlanta that aired on FX every Tuesday recently came to an end, it got showered with great reviews resulting in it hitting 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and anyone that follows the site knows that, that doesn’t happen often. One aspect of the show was him placing a very important detail that seemed like just any other thing in one of the scenes, the OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER ART OF HIS FORTHCOMING ALBUM!.

The scene we are talking about is in episode nine which is called “Juneteenth”;

“Earn wakes up in another woman's bed and Van comes by to pick him up for a Juneteenth-themed party which she believes will help her establish good networking. The luxury home's owner is a rich White man who is shown to know quite a lot about Black culture in an anthropological way and his bourgeois Black wife. To impress the party's attendees, Vanessa and Earnest have to pretend they are a married couple who love fine art. Earn ends up going off on the homeowners when the wife insults Paper Boi and his hip hop management career. On the drive back home, Earn and Van have sex in their car. “ – Wikipedia

Earn is the character Donald Glover plays, while at the party he walks into a room with a bunch of paintings and pictures that are dedicated to black history and culture. One of the pictures in the scene is the cover art of his forthcoming album called Awaken, My Love!

Gambino has already dropped the first single off the album called Me and Your Mama which is already being called a classic. The due date of the album is 2nd December, 2016.
