We’ve got out ear close to the ground and when it starts shaking we know Nigerian rapper Phlow is up to something. This time she brings together rappers Pryse, Mz Kiss, with Pasha on the hook.
Production done by the incomparable Teck-Zilla, and the track is said to be inspired by Public Enemy front-man Chuck D who said: “The Super emcee is the one who can spit in more than two languages”, and to that end you have the ladies go Super Saiyan with a unique blend of English, Pidgin English, and Yoruba.
“Not only is it an incredible display of their talents, but it also showcases that Hip-Hop is indeed a worldwide culture. That’s not even taking into account Pasha’s dancehall vocals on the hook and Teck’s infectious instrumental, both of which are smooth complements to the three rapper’s verses. Capturing the energy of “MP3” on film is RCube, another member of the crazy-talented Str8Buttah crew whose vision and edits bring it all together.” – Str8Buttah Entertainment.
