LaVar Ball has just put out Big Baller Brand’s first sneaker, and they’re pretty fresh Complex
Big Baller Brand is the family sports apparel company on the come-up, headed by patriarch LaVar Ball. LaVar Ball has, in no uncertain terms, said that he was looking for a $1 billion shoe deal for his 3 sons, Lonzo, LaMello, and LiAngelo. All 3 have been high school stand outs with 19 year old Lonzo playing 1 year of college basketball at UCLA this past season, not to mention he won the Wayman Tisdale Award as the top freshman in the nation. Lonzo is going pro after one season, and he’s just designed a $495 sneaker for Big Baller Brand.

The ZO2 PRIME price goes up to $995 if you want it autographed by Lonzo Ball. There are also $220 Lonzo Ball flip flops.

This is definitely a power move on the part of LaVar Ball after it was reported that Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour were not interested in doing business with the BBB. The following quote might have been the reason why…

We've said from the beginning, we aren't looking for an endorsement deal. We're looking for co-branding, a true partner. But they're not ready for that because they're not used to that model. But hey, the taxi industry wasn't ready for Uber, either .
